Ingredients
  

For the Chicken

  • 2 pieces chicken breasts Pounded to an even thickness for uniform cooking.
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning Your favorite brand.
  • to taste Salt and pepper

For the Sauce

  • 8 oz cream cheese Softened for easy blending.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Toppings

  • 6 slices cooked bacon Crumble before adding.
  • 1/2 cup green onions Sliced.

Other

  • 1 piece Aluminum foil Heavy-duty works best.

Preparation

  • Preheat your grill or campfire for cooking.
  • Lay out a large piece of aluminum foil, making sure it’s big enough to create a sealed packet.
  • Place the chicken breasts in the center of the foil.
  • Sprinkle the ranch seasoning evenly on top of the chicken.
  • Add the softened cream cheese over the ranch seasoning.
  • Fold the sides of the aluminum foil over the chicken, ensuring it’s tightly sealed to retain moisture.

Cooking

  • Place the foil packet onto the grill or campfire and cook for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is completely cooked through.
  • Carefully open the packet (steam will escape!) and sprinkle the top with shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, and sliced green onions.
  • Serve warm, and enjoy this satisfying meal!

Notes

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. You can freeze the cooked packets for a quick meal later. When reheating, place in the microwave on medium power until warmed through, or reheat gently in the oven. For best results, consider marinating the chicken in ranch dressing beforehand for extra flavor.
