- 4 cups Cooked Shredded Chicken (rotisserie or boiled chicken breasts)
- 1 (10.5 oz can) Cream of Chicken Soup (or cream of mushroom/celery)
- 1 cup Sour Cream (full-fat recommended)
- ½ tsp Onion Powder
- ¼ tsp Garlic Powder
- ¼ tsp Salt
- ⅛ tsp Black Pepper
- 1 ½ sleeves Ritz Crackers (about 45 crackers), coarsely crushed
- ½ cup Unsalted Butter, melted
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish lightly with butter or non-stick spray.
In a large bowl, combine shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir until smooth and well blended.
Spread the creamy chicken mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish, smoothing the surface with a spatula.
In a separate bowl, combine coarsely crushed Ritz crackers with melted butter. Mix until crumbs are evenly coated. Sprinkle evenly over the chicken mixture.
Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, until the topping is golden brown and the filling is bubbling around the edges.
Allow the casserole to rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley or chives if desired.
