  • 1 package (36 oz) Toll House chocolate chip cookie dough (or any refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough)
  • 1 package Pillsbury Christmas Tree Shape Sugar Cookie Dough (pre-decorated holiday designs)
  • Optional: extra chocolate chips for decorating

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  • Divide chocolate chip cookie dough into 20 equal portions (about 2 tablespoons each).
  • Roll each portion into a ball and place on baking sheets 2 inches apart. Flatten slightly to create an even surface.
  • Place one uncooked Pillsbury Christmas sugar cookie on top of each flattened dough ball, cleanest side facing up.
  • Bake for 10–11 minutes, until edges are golden and the sugar cookie tops are set. Centers should look slightly soft.
  • Let cookies rest on the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
