Ingredients
  

For the Pork Chops

  • 4 thick-cut pork chops
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  • In a shallow dish, mix Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, oregano, and thyme.
  • Pour olive oil into another shallow dish.
  • Dip each pork chop into the olive oil, ensuring both sides are coated.
  • Dredge the pork chops in the Parmesan-breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to ensure an even coating.
  • Place the coated pork chops on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they are not touching.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
  • Remove from the oven and let the pork chops rest for 5-7 minutes before serving.
  • Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

For best results, use freshly grated Parmesan cheese and avoid overcrowding the baking sheet to ensure even crisping.
