Ingredients
  

  • For the Float Base
  • 15 oz vanilla ice cream
  • 1.5 liters 7UP or Sprite, chilled
  • 3 tbsp milk (whole or 2%)
  • 1/4 tsp peppermint extract
  • For Garnish (Optional)
  • Crushed candy canes or peppermint candies
  • Whipped cream
  • Mini candy canes for stirrers
  • Red and white striped straws
  • Maraschino cherries

Instructions
 

  • Step 1: In a large clean punch bowl, mix the milk and peppermint extract.
    Step 2: Add scoops of vanilla ice cream evenly across the bowl.
    Step 3: Slowly pour chilled 7UP down the side of the bowl to reduce fizzing.
    Step 4: Ladle into glasses, ensuring each gets ice cream and soda. Garnish with whipped cream and crushed candy canes.
  • Step 1: Add 1–2 scoops of vanilla ice cream to each tall glass.
    Step 2: Mix milk and peppermint extract in a small bowl. Drizzle about 1 teaspoon over the ice cream.
    Step 3: Slowly pour chilled 7UP over ice cream to fill glass 3/4 full.
    Step 4: Top with whipped cream, candy cane pieces, and a cherry. Serve immediately with a straw and spoon.
