Ingredients

For the Margarita

  • 1 cup fresh pineapple (chopped, can substitute with frozen) Fresh or frozen pineapple can be used.
  • 1/2 cup coconut cream For rich creaminess.
  • 1/2 cup tequila Adjust to taste.
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice About 2 limes.
  • 2 tablespoons agave syrup Optional for sweetness.
  • Ice cubes For blending.
  • Lime slices and coconut shavings For garnish.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Start by chopping the fresh pineapple into small pieces. If using frozen pineapple, allow it to thaw a bit before blending.

Blending

  • In a blender, combine the chopped pineapple, coconut cream, tequila, lime juice, and agave syrup if desired. Add a handful of ice cubes to create a frosty texture.
  • Blend the mixture on high until it’s creamy and well combined. If it’s too thick, feel free to add a splash more lime juice or a little water.

Taste and Adjust

  • Give your margarita a quick taste. If you prefer it sweeter, add more agave syrup; if you like it tart, add a bit more lime juice.

Garnishing and Serving

  • Pour the margarita into chilled glasses. Add a slice of lime and sprinkle coconut shavings on top for a beautiful and tasty finish.

Notes

Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor. For a slushy version, blend in more ice until desired consistency is reached. Can substitute coconut cream with lighter coconut milk for a lower-fat option.
