Equipment

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1/2 cup fresh raspberries (or sliced strawberries)
  • 1/4 cup pomegranate seeds
  • 2 cups filtered water (boiled and cooled)

Instructions
 

  • Wash and thoroughly dry all fruit.
  • Place a mixture of berries and pomegranate seeds into each well of the ice cube tray.
  • Gently pour the cooled, filtered water over the fruit until each well is completely filled.
  • Place the tray flat in the freezer and freeze for at least 6 hours or until fully solid.
  • Remove cubes from the tray and add to cocktails, mocktails, or water for serving.

Notes

Boiling the water twice and letting it cool is the secret to achieving crystal-clear, bistro-style ice. For a unique twist, substitute coconut water to create a slightly sweet, opaque cube.
