Preparation

  • Start by slicing the zucchinis into rounds, aiming for about ¼ inch thick so they cook evenly.
  • In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Keep an eye on it to avoid burning!

Cooking

  • Once the butter is melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant and golden.
  • Add the zucchini slices to the skillet, spreading them out to ensure even cooking.
  • Sauté for about 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the zucchini is tender and slightly golden.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste, adjusting according to your preference.
  • Serve warm as a side dish with your favorite protein.

Notes

For deeper flavor, you can add a splash of white wine or a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese during the last minute of cooking. Storage: Keep in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days. Reheat in a skillet or microwave.
