Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef cooked until browned and crumbly
  • 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup 10.5 oz
  • 1/2 tsp salt or to taste
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper or to taste
  • 1 package frozen tater tots 16 oz
  • 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground beef until browned and crumbly, about 7–10 minutes.
  • Stir in condensed cream of mushroom soup, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  • Transfer the beef mixture to a 9x13-inch baking dish and spread evenly.
  • Layer frozen tater tots over the beef mixture in a single layer.
  • Sprinkle shredded Cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
  • Bake for 30–45 minutes, or until tater tots are golden brown and the casserole is hot and bubbly.

Notes

You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for beef. Add a layer of vegetables (like green beans or corn) for a one-dish meal.
